There are lots of lovely independent shop, art galleries and restaurants. The old architecture is interesting to see, nice and friendly people everywhere we went. Very walkable downtown.

My sister and I travelled to Flagstaff, Arizona by Amtrak, from Washington, DC on September 5, 2019. The tour of downtown Flagstaff was interesting; but what we really enjoyed most was the performance of "Winter's Tale" featured during the Flagstaff Shakespeare Festival. The show was...More

A lot of great places to eat and get a drink in this area. Many good examples remain of the historic route 66. Worth the detour and visit.

Great location to spend a day or two. The art and craft show in the park was excellent! Easy access within walking distance to all attractions.

I did actually find the guy selling cigars. He had three or four boxes of mostly moldy sticks, all overpriced. Nothing really worth looking twice at. Otherwise, the traffic in this place is insane and it should be avoided at all costs. Looked best in...More

Our first night in Flagstaff we had a great dinner on San Francisco Street before strolling around the rest of the well-preserved historic district for their First Friday Art Walk tour of galleries. I especially liked the large plaza for gatherings and the murals scattered...More

Western vibe downtown in college town that is real not fake. A legitimate hub of food, entertainment and services for all. This downtown should be visited every time you come through Flag., Not just once. It is lively, always evolving, as the best of downtowns...More

This is a quaint small downtown area with many historic buildings open to the public and available for viewing. We walked into this working hotel and restaurant and were welcomed to look around in a self-tour. Many wonderful sites and places to eat. The visitor...More
