An evening walk after a day of business in Sitka. We watch the salmon in the river, walked to the edge of the harbor, enjoyed the totems, and breathed in the smells of the forest.

This guided walk by "Janine" brought us here after our RAINY visit at the Raptor Center. Wonderful walk in the forest, over the stream lined with dying salmon. I have only seen this on TV - what an amazing process. Beautiful Totems to be appreciated....More

A highlight of our Sitka tour. It was a rainy, windy day but still beautiful. Impressive totems... I thought best of all ports. The woods and trees were gorgeous, and the inside of visitor center was beautiful with all the wooden wall carvings. Special place....More

To get to the park, you just take a leisurely stroll along a paved walkway. It is not a long or difficult walk. It is a very nice walk with things to see along the way. You will enjoy it, even in the rain.🙂
