This was a fairly large, fun, indoor and outdoor market complex about a 15 minute walk from the Alamo. Gift shops, clothing, food stands in abundance. There was also an interesting performance by a Mexican dance group going on at the time, and street singers...More

This was a pleasant place to people-watch and take in the colors of the souvenir shops. There's a lot that's overpriced, but I did find a few items that were reasonable. You could easily spend several hours there.

There are a lot of shops with similar items, typically found across the border, for you to buy. They also have quick bites, beer and margaritas for you to purchase and walk with. You can’t take them on the street, but can shop and hangout...More

Way overpriced merchandise. Mostly the same stuff in all the booths/stores. I have shopped in several cities in Mexico, so I am familiar with the goods. Very disappointing.

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I found this to be a lot of the same stuff everywhere I looked. Very colorful and artful. Disappointing.

This is a neat area with many little shops and restaurants. Great place for souvenir or gift shopping. You can find great handmade items and prices seemed reasonable. There's also usually some kind of entertainment going on also on little stage in the middle area....More

We live in downtown San Antonio and love to walk through Market Square on the weekends. It normally has lots of vendors and live music and we love the ambiance, food, music and drinks. We spend at least an hour or more and walk around...More

Parking in the area ranges between 5 to 10 dollars. I'm not aware of any free parking. We parked within walking distance to the Alamo, River walk and the Market Square.

Maybe in the outside area but definitely not on the inside unless they are a service animal. I would not recommend it.
