We did enjoy a couple of the shops. But it wasn’t what we thought it would be. Not real shops with artisans. Not really higher end souvenirs.

Some very good shops with unique goods. Several, however, are very highly scented. Since I am very allergic, I couldn't stay in to shop.

There was a little cafe that serves amazing quesadillas. The staff there was wonderful. They accommodated us and made sure our food was fresh. Little pricey but worth the money. Don't forget to try the lime freseca!

The wares are interesting and vast. The hats were especially fun. It is a great place to spruce up your Spanish.

It's a town inside a town. Authentic feel to the buildings. The shops are an eclectic mix of offering. And you are right by the San Antonio River.

It is a charming area with works from local artists. You can walk there from the River Walk. We visited most of the shops but did not eat there. The copper shop is amazing, and I bought several pieces from another.

This village is comprised of a cute little cluster of shops showcasing local artists of various mediums - paint, woodwork, metal work, etc. It's fun and interesting to peruse. There's a restaurant with food and drinks (and bar) on site, which made it convenient. Definitely...More

This is one of our go to places each time we stay at a hotel on the San Antonio Riverwalk. It’s a quaint, serene, unique and cute little village with churches, art stores, cafes, and public restrooms. Bug spray is recommended on warmer days ....More
