Chihuly Garden and Glass was at the top of my list on my recent trip to Seattle, and it didn’t disappoint. It was absolutely stunning! There’s exhibits inside, in the glasshouse and in the garden. It you enjoy art, it’s a must!
We went first thing in this morning as several reviews indicated that sometimes they close early for events. A little spendy but even for a cheapo like me I enjoyed it. The docents were very informative and the glass blowing demo interesting to watch.
It is close to space needle. We bought ticket right in front of the entrance. The art work from Chihuly is stunning. There are photographers taking free photos for you and you can send them to your email address.
The Chihuly Gardens and Glass, located next to the Space Needle, is a must visit for art enthusiasts. The glass pieces created by Chihuly are truly wonders to behold as they hang from the ceiling like giant beautiful stalactites.
I have always wanted to visit this exhibit. Chihuly’s glass blowing and art work are absolutely amazing. I was in total wonderment. This is a not to be missed experience for anyone interested in the creative process.

The exhibit consists of 2 parts. The inside displays pieces of varying sizes and they are shown in themes, so there is a room of sea creatures, one of flowers, etc. Don't forget to look up! There are lots of pieces hanging from the ceiling too. The gardens have pieces interspersed among living plants, trees and flowers and you walk along a meandering path to view them all. We went on a beautiful day and spent almost 2 hours, really enjoying ourselves, to view everything at a relaxed pace.
