The day we were out was a pretty choppy day, we were commenting how we'd been on swells that big in a smaller boat and it was no fun, hardly noticed anything on this boat- it's pretty smooth. The boat is also in the bay hugging islands most of the trip, you're not out on the big ocean. My mom get seasick very easily, but I think she could handle this trip with a dramamine. They also make these tiny ear dot things, she swears by them for flying and boats, not sure what they are- google :).
