What a great place to experience wildlife, glaciers, and scenic Alaska. Lots of coves, cliffs, and open water filled with otters, orcas, seals, sea lions. Birds. And of course fish. Add this to you list if you like those things. There are several tour options...More

Resurrection Bay is beautiful. You have Seward in the back, mountains in the front. The sunrise over the mountains is really pretty. You can't go wrong with nature at its finest.

If you go to Alaska, you don't want to miss a trip to Seward to see the beautiful Resurrection Bay! Be sure to take a boat tour into the Kenai Fjords and visit the Alaska Sea life Center.

Unfortunately, I believe we came at the wrong time of year. We only saw a few bald eagles, puffins, and a seal. And it was cold and rainy the entire trip, so we could not see the tops of the mountains. We stayed inside the...More

We had a rental car and we were able to drive along the bay to watch the sea otters, eagles and much more! Be sure to take the drive behind the Sealife Center.

The bay and the surrounding area was just jaw dropping. When I arrived, you could see in every direction. But then the smoke moved in and the views disappeared.
