Driving Moose - Wilson road rarely disappoints if you are looking for wildlife. Driving it early morning and around dusk are the best times. Elk, moose, deer, and black bears are seen on a regular basis. If you are in the area, don’t miss it.

No problems driving a sedan. We drove a mid sized SUV and had no issues. There are not many pull offs so you wind up 1/3rd on the road and the rest off the road. I agree with the individual that suggested the turnaround near the end. Entering from near Moose Bridge is the best. Good luck with wildlife watching.
