It was supprisingly difficult to figure out where to go for the "Forest Gump" photo Op, but this is the right park, but the bench he spent 90% of the movie on, DOESN'T EXIST! ...my hole life is a lie...

This park has the historic aspect, a monument and plenty of sitting areas. Lovely shade from the old trees. This is also the park where Forrest Gump sat on the bench waiting for a bus in the movie.

We took a map and walked from Square to Square covering them all. They are all very similar but very different with monuments, and other additions. Relaxing. Recommend seeing them all.

Nice square in the historic area. This was the park where Forrest Gump was filmed on the bench which now has been moved to the Savannah History Museum
