These 2 memorials represent Tower 1 and Tower 2 that used to stand before 9/11/2001 and have the names engraved of each person who died at each tower. They put a rose on the person's name when it is their birthday. Very touching.

The crowds are overwhelming especially during the middle of the day but it's still very quiet. Not a lot of noise which you'd be surprised about. The fountains are a place to think and reflect on what happened here in 2011. You can leave a...More

Started our day with a must do visit. Very moving place and well worth a visit. Shame about the new shopping mall next door.

Heart wrenching and solemn tribute to those who perished. See the survivor tree near the pools. Rose buds placed on inscribed names on their birthdays.

Back in the early ‘70s I worked two blocks from the WTC. My daily commute from NJ on the Path train took me into the lower basement of the World Trade Center. The tower where the train terminated was still under construction at that time....More

As an American, this is a place you want to spend some time to remember those who lost their lives on 9/11.

Every American citizen should visit this sacred place and rub your hands across some of the names engraved in the walls.....those who lost their lives on 9/11. You may cry and be angry also concerning the evil act that caused this national tragedy.

Plenty to see and do in New York. Too much to visit in just one short weekend. You could spent a week and not see all the fantastic sites. A great place to visit.

This is a place that you must go to 'turn down your volume', think about life... Not a funny or festive place, but you have to go, feel the silence and peace, put them inside you... Think about how many lifes are lost and what...More

I wanted to visit to show respect for all affected. I know the two cascades were designed to drown out the sound of NYC and they do. I like you are invited to touch the engraved names of those who lost their lives. Each tree...More

The quickest and least confusing will be the subway. NYC has a great subway app and its fee. Its called NYC subway and it has a big red train as the icon. It will allow you to plan out trips from all over the city. Once you... More

Don't know about an outlet mall but there's a beautiful mall within a block but it's quite expensive.
