It’s a pocket space between traffic, but it’s great and beautiful. It feels so comfortable to sit there enjoying coffee and the sun. It’s very green snd has plenty of chairs to sit. Good spot for people watching.

Herald Square is much smaller than the song would have you believe. The public tables and chairs are a nice touch in the summer, and you can relax outside before enjoying the air conditioning in Macys! TIP: The Macy's basement has food and bathrooms that...More

We enjoyed breakfast there this past weekend and really liked the quietest of the place. The statue is beautiful and the surroundings quaint and pretty.

I like going shopping in this area. It has a variety of stores that I like. Also, great places to enjoy a quick bite.

Herald Square is in the midst of one of the busiest intersections in NYC. After spending several hours in Macy’s, it’s great to walk outside, sit in the Square and just relax before moving on to the next adventure.

My son and I were in the city for a Rangers game. We normally go to Bryant park so my son can have a pre game snack from waffles and dinges but decided to go to the one in Herald square instead. They did not...More

Herald Square is tiny by urban park standards. But there are chairs to sit on and watch the people striding up and down Broadway. There are food kiosks nearby. And Macy’s Department Store is right there; this massive retail palace is worth a visit (ride...More

In such a busy city, you need time to sit down and watch the world go by and this is the place. There is a kiosk for a drink and seating and Macy's next door.
