If you are anywhere near Wall Street, it is worth taking a detour to check out the New York Stock Exchange. The epicenter of capitalism...impressive building!

There is little to see here other than the statue of George Washington and the bull statue down the street. According to our tour guide, the Exchange is a shadow of its former self, because much of the on floor day trading activities have been...More

It's great to see this but only if you're in the area and you are interested in that sort of thing. If you at the ground of wall street you will see squares in the road. These are the markers of the original wall that...More

The NY Stock Exchange building has an interesting role not only in American history, but also in the ebb & flow of global economies. It is worth taking a look if you are in the neighbourhood visiting the World Trade Centre Memorial or in the...More

The imposing neo-Classical façade of this building is the American continuation of the Roman tradition of government by architecture. It is quite an impressive building and the security surrounding it is also quite impressive. There was some building going on at the intersection of Wall...More

Walked around Wall Street on a Saturday and found the NY Stock Exchange. This location was way too overcrowded with tourists who were there just to take pictures outside of the building. I was pretty underwhelmed. It's good to see once, but nothing exciting. I...More

We saw the NYSE as part of a tour of the financial district. It's no longer open to the public, but seeing it and hearing about it's history is very interesting. The fearless girl statue was relocated outside of the building so it's another reason...More

Living on Wall Street, I constantly see visitors discovering the NY Stock Exchange and a few landmarks immediately adjacent. The address is 11 Wall Street and seems most people think the best photo is the little side entrance under the scaffolding, yet the dramatic photo...More

I were on a tour on Wall streets. Of course I wanted to watch the NY Stock Exchange building. A lot of film was made there and means so much for some people. I was there, I saw it, can go further :)

I was told by a reliable source you can go inside for around a $2000 donation, to what I don't know, and I have no idea how you go about this. I have been inside the exchange before 9/11 and I cannot say it is worth $2000.
