Even if you're not taking a train it's worth a visit just to see this historic landmark. Great architecture.

We spent hours here completing the audio tour that came with our new york pass. The guy on the counter was great. Very professional and friendly. The station itself is just such an amazing building. Without the audio tour we wouldn t have learnt about...More

.....so you have to go if you are a first time visitor to New York. An iconic building with a grand central vaulted concourse with shops and eateries as well as the necessary railway paraphernalia.

One of the most beautiful interiors, visually stunning. I love everything about this building. It is a romantic building despite its immensity.

Check out the whispering gallery inside Central Station. The acoustics allow you to stand in one corner and talk to someone else diagonally opposite some several feet away, without shouting!!

Palatial railway station. The chandeliers are not what one would expect. Fascinating also with shops, markets & the Oyster bar restaurant. Well worth a visit however short.

Stayed at the Grand Hyatt next door to Grand Central. Regardless the time of day or night there is always a lot going on and so much to see and eat. Like to people watch? This is the place for you.

Any one who is an architecture buff will love this terminal. Multitude of reasonably priced eateries and shops in addition to train and subway accesses. Self and guided tours are available. Glad Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis had a part in the restoration of this beautiful edifice.

Better looking than the average public transport terminal, but I am not sure what the fuss is about. It does have a shopping complex but nothing that you could not find elsewhere in NYC.

Absolutely! There are two bars inside the restaurant. Do try the food though, they are superb! Also, the menu is printed everyday, a good keep sake. :)
