First off, Canyon De Chelly is gorgeous, and everyone should visit, even if it's just to drive around the rim of the canyon. The tour into the canyon was lackluster, though. There are many other cars in the canyon giving tours, the stops are all...More

We went in a Wrangler and providing you still have reasonable range of motion you should be able to get in and out. Many of our stops were in deep sand making it a bit more difficult but asking the driver/guide to accommodate you will solve that. Our ride was rough, negotiating the furrows and ruts. It was fun but there could be a need again to notify the guide. They know the tip will increase too! Once you have done the valley floor, do the rim drive all the way to Spider Rock, we though was the best of the stops and it is at the end of the rim.
