Fun sailing around the harbor to see Navy ships, helicopters, etc. Your ship host tells interesting info about the buildings, the restaurants and you can see Mexico in the distance.

Beautiful area! You can watch the boats and cruise-ships come and go. I enjoyed laying in the shade in the park.

Our Hotel was close to Shelter Island so we walked there and around the Harbor walk. We found great restaurants and beautiful scenery. Every one was very pleasant and we have never seen so many well behaved and friendly dogs (and owners) Nice place to...More

We stayed on Shelter Island and highly recommend it. It was VERY quiet in the evening and offered many places to walk and explore as well.
