So beautiful up there... You can see the downtown skyline, Coronado, Mexico on a clear day. There is a historical lighthouse you can tour and learn the history of the point. You can also see whales, orcas, dolphins swimming by. There are fun tide pools...More

beautiful area with nice views. loved the views with the sailboats in the water below. visit old lighthouse and check out the gift shop. can even see mexico.

I actually live very close to Point Loma. It is literally minutes from just about anything you could want to do. Whether it's downtown city life, a hike in the desert or a day at the beach, you're covered!

Yes there are public bathrooms. The only food is from vending machines. It's still a great place to visit.

yes, there are some old barracks there and some other operations along with a very large and beautiful cemetery
