The zoo was wonderful, the exhibits and habitats were top notch for the animals as well as the visitors. The signs were easy to read, which made navigating the park a breeze. There is a bus tour of the park included with your admission, as...More

We spend quite a few hours at the world famous San Diego Zoo. They have many well kept animals on site. The do a great job of recreating the habitat and the facility is well kept.

What can you say about the Worlds best Zoo. There are so many different animals to see & interact with. It's a great place for kids & adults alike. Has some steep hills to climb so keep that in mind if you have trouble walking.

This Zoo has a great but hilly layout so come with comfortable shoes! The zoo is worth every step though.

Review of: San Diego Zoo

Wonderful with staff and volunteers. A full day of activities and more. Laying out an itinerary might be helpful if you have youngsters to deal with, but fly by wire is ok too.

Just a little disappointed that it wasn’t affiliated to the AZA association of zoos and aquariums but it was really great my daughter like the sky ride so much and the animals make sure you go really earlier the animals weren’t as active when hot...More

The koalas tour is only at 8:30 am - you enter the park early. For the penguins, giraffes or elephants, I imagine later is fine. When we were at the elephants as part of the private experience, no elephants were in the... More

We only bought our tickets at the gate so I am assuming the question you have is for the SanDiego zoo directly. I would think you could ask through their website. Sorry I couldn’t help you.

Not within walking distance. Downtown is close by and there are hotels but you'll probably need to Uber or Lyft or cab to get to and from the zoo.
