About
America's first portrait statue portrays a half-smiling, half-serious Franklin. Next to the statue is a marker for the site of the first public school in the United States, where Franklin -- among other luminaries -- was a student.

I wouldn't come all the way to see this statue but come to the area and you'll see the Old City Hall and Omni Parker House.

The statue is located in front of the First Public School site. A mosaic and a statue of former student Benjamin Franklin currently marks the location of the original schoolhouse.

We rested here and took lots of pictures. There is a democratic donkey across the courtyard with a republican footprint standing in the way of the donkey moving. Great picture opportunities.

Another great statue along the freedom trail. You can find Benjamin Franklin at the old Latin school monument. Well deserved, and perfect spot,

As you walk along the Freedom Trail, just past the King's Chapel, you will see the statue of Benjamin Franklin on the same side of the street. Very beautiful sculpture and worth the stop to see.

There is only one statue. It is in a courtyard on the freedom trail. If you do not look then you will miss it. The reliefs are well defined. The statue is well kept. If you look closely, the artistic ability of the person who...More
