I've always enjoyed visiting this area over the years. Quality retail stores and food in the area. Do not miss the art museum. The Hemp festival was happening and many interesting booths there.

Such a welcoming place. We watched children play in the fountain. In the evening we enjoyed the Shindig on the Green. Fantastic!

Sculptures, fountains, greenery, festivals are packed deliciously in Pack Square; where you discuss politics with posters and eye the women enjoying the legality of being able to be shirtless---because Asheville accepts the equality that if a man can be shirtless, so can a woman.
