This was our favorite area of San Francisco. No commercialized shops, or Restaurants. But instead offering exactly what we were looking for with cute little boutique style shopping and yummy cafes, Bakery, and authentic dining experiences to choose from.
Fascinating rejuvenated part of San Francisco. Like many others, started walking down Market Street fidning it ordinary and boring and then came across this neighbourhood. Lots of life with art, cafes, shopping etc.
Visited a friend living in this neighborhood full of eateries, watering holes, boutique shops and open spaces like Patricia's Green on Octavia Street. Near the Civic Center's City Hall and miscellaneous theaters. Not upscale but certainly very trendy.

Nice little area to walk around. There is a little park area to sit and relax after walking. It had burning man sculptures displayed when I was there. It's a small area but still a good people watching spot.
