Always wanted to see a submarine from the inside so bought a ticket. Wife did not because 20 dollars is way too steep. The submarine was pretty cool and the audio tour very interesting. Two stars because too expensive (tickets used to be 12 dollars)

I’m not a history buff, but we had walked by the USS Pampanito and I had not toured a submarine before so I wanted to go. Found $5 off in the San Francisco tourist map making admission $15 per adult so I convinced my husband...More

A nice submarine from the WWII. It's in the seaport next to the big boat. You can visit inside if you want.

Fantastic little time killer (30 mins) complete with a veteran who knows everything about it. Great idea and parked just in front of the USS Jeremiah O'Brian

World War II real submarine, with an audio tour from real soldiers stories. The quarters are tight - good for thin and short people (just saying)

I am honestly in awe everytime I see one of these vessels up close. How do so many people get around on such a cramped ship. Incredible respect for our navy and the men and women who serve

This WWII submarine is an important part of our past and illustrates the expectations placed on those who served our country. The tight quarters and confining nature of submariner life are probably unimaginable to young people, but serve to bring awareness of sacrifices routinely expected....More

I did not have the tour the sub but I had still had great views. Imagine those Navy personnel on this boat going off far distances. Wow. Take a look at the battery cell (not for phones) and the torpedo. Impressive!

This is a missed opportunity to bring the Navy to life. There could have giving sound effects of torpedoes screaming through the water. Call to battle stations by the captain! Routine orders over the air ! I really respect her military and this was just...More
