Perfectly formed lava tube. 1/2 mile round trip. They provide flashlights. Watch for signs right before Hana. Worth the stop.

We stopped here on the way back on the Road to Hana. We had decided to go as far as Waianapanapa and then head back. We still had plenty of time so we decided to stop. It is interesting, but fairly expensive for us since...More

This 960 + old lava tube is a sight to see! After paying $12.50 per person, you’re given a flashlight, and sent on your way to the depths of an actual lava tube! Don’t mind the white, eyeless, crickets or millipedes, there are not bats...More

Great experience. How may places can someone do this? Hard to believe that this was once filled with molten lava.

Good activity for an hour. There are very good signs here to educate you about the lava tubes & natural formations. There is some walking but it is not strenuous. This is a good value educational & curiosity activity to do for a low cost.

We debated about whether this would be worth it or just a tourist trap. I lost the argument, so in we went. It was actually quite interesting and worth our time. Not a must do, but certainly worth the money and time commitment.

The tube is spacious and has no narrow areas, so it should not be a problem... However, most of the tube is dark and can seem smaller than it is...
