I have been to the big island 3x. EVERY time, I make a point of coming to this plantation, primarily to buy coffee. A bit of a premium? Yes, but if you want quality, this is the place.

We were brought here on a tour and the place is quite scenic as it over looks the jungle location of the processing of the coco beams. Location has free samples, great movie, reasonably priced Kona coffee, and a penny smasher! There is a gift...More

Great selection of coffees and you can learn a lot. They have some coffee made with special beans that only account for 3 percent of beans and are hand picked. They are whole beans instead of split ones and have more nutrients and oils than...More

This coffee plantation was quite fun and educational. We got to walk through a Lava Tube on the way to the drying sheds. The gift shop and tasting area were a bonus to a great day trip. I got coffee to take home and I'm...More

We first walked through the lava tube, which sloped downward. After that, we climbed stairs to get to the restrooms and also the room with Kona Coffee samples. Although I'm not much of a coffee drinker, I did try one of each of the two...More

This is a place I wanted to explore further than the 20 minutes the island circle tour bus stop offered. All we got to do was quickly scan the gift shop and have a small sample of coffee along with the people from two other...More

This place is located right on the main highway heading south from Kona, and they offer good coffee made with their own farm grown beans, plus brews with other brands as well. A cuppa Kona is very reasonably priced here :)). There’s also a well...More
