Green park with houses of different architectural styles in the middle of downtown Houston. It is amazing that such places exist in the middle of busy cities.

This park is in downtown Houston and very close to everything else. It is very strange to see the contrast between the old buildings that would be original to Houston and the skyscrapers of downtown. It's a good place for a walk in the evening,...More

Walking this park you get the feeling you’re back in time or in a small town somewhere. Then you look up and see skyscrapers all around you. The differences between the old and new is truly staggering. As we wandered around we came across the...More

It's really staggering to see the difference between the original houses of Houston and the new gigantic skyscrapers. This park does a good job of presenting some of the original housing through the years.

Large public park in Downtown, but really difficult to find suitable parking here for a reasonable visit. Site is off Bagby Street to the rear of the Heritage Society building. We never got to see the controversial statue.

This park offers a nice touch of history and greenery in an otherwise bland downtown area. Thanks to the information signboards and the restored heritage buildings, I could appreciate the history of the city and the historical significance of the park.
