The mansion tour was outstanding. Jeff was a great guide. He combined history with enough humor to make this a very enjoyable tour.

2 parts to the tour...the mansion tour was great. "Journey to Jubilee" tour horrible. tour guide kept referring to herself as 'we historical scholars'... and adjusting facts... comments 'you may think such and such "but we historically educated" and would give her explanations...no discussion absolutely...More

Love how informational this tour was. It wasn’t too long or too short either. Our tour guide was amazing! He dressed the part, could answer every question and made lots of great puns!

Through the story of the plantation we learned about cultural changes and common practices of the time period when the plantation was in operation. Caused me to reflect and learn how slavery affected all involved ie workers, family, plantation owner

I suggest uber about $18.00 or so. It is 30 minutes from downtown and on a highway but worth the trip there.
