i enjoyed learning about the original uses of the place and seeing the exhibits of all the entertainers (not just country) who have performed there.

This is both a shrine and a prime small-venue performance venue. We were only there for the tours. The self-guided tour started with a film which gave the history of the building and the performances held there. The Grand Ole Opry was performed there until...More

We have been fortunate enough to see a few concerts at the Ryman. There is nothing like it. The feel when you walk in, the sound of the performers and the staff are so kind! It’s a great place to purchase items of the Opry...More

We were only able to get the self-guided tickets for the day we were there. The video at the beginning was really well done. There is so much great history they put in just a 10 minute video. It was cool to see some of...More

My family visited the Ryman on our weekend in Nashville. It is a must see in Music City! After a AAA discount, it was worth every bit of the $22 self guided tour (that included a free photo). We would stop again!

Only wish we had came on our own and could have spent more time. We came on tour bus and only had 45 minutes...so much more to see and no time to do it. We're coming back next spring!

A must see when visiting town. Take a guided tour (book in advance, it sells out) to get the back story! A piece of history you must experience. We also saw a show. Highly recommend.

We found the seating far more comfortable than we had imagined. They do sell concessions and you are allowed to bring your dink’s into the auditorium for the show. I brought a light jacket/sweater and believe I used it... More

45min to 1hr ,unless you are really in to architecture, you could spend all day examining the structure and how they upgraded it to meet modern performers.
