Unfortunately there was no-one there to tell us about this church when we visited. Still it was very interesting to check it out, both inside and out.

We visited St. Philip's Church and its graveyard on our walking tour that we took through the Historic Charleston Foundation. The Sanctuary was closed but we discussed the church history from the outside as well as spending some time in the cemetery.

This church was right down the street from our hotel. We passed it often and the attendants were always smiling and welcoming to everyone passing by. We walked inside to find it more beautiful on the inside than on the outside.
