Nice to walk past, plenty of other cool historic homes, churches etc in the area. Learning how these homes were almost lost then preserved was very interesting.

If you want a photograph you will have to get creative with your angles - with trees and cars parked along the street it is hard to get a great photo but it can be done!

I agree with another post that you could look this up on google and see it just fine. The trees have really grown and cover the buildings more so can't get good pictures of the front of the them.

It was okay, I think the older tourists like this mostly. We made a point to go here and felt we got the point from pictures. Not much else to do in the area unless you walk past in either direction.

I have always heard about the Rainbow Row, so that was a must to see while visiting Charleston. Beautiful homes.

AS you walk about Charleston, head toward the Battery and you can find, Rainbow Row. This is a collection of homes along East Bay St. The homes were more "pastel" in color that the vibrant colors one envisions in a rainbow. However, the homes lined...More

We walked here from the nearby waterfront park , a very short and shaded walk . The homes are beautiful and as others have said, somewhat obscured by trees growing out front (but that's nature right? )We have a sentimental attachment as our son in law...More

It's all pedestrian-friendly since it's an open neighborhood street. You can walk along the sidewalk and I'm sure you can bring your pup!
