Just went here to see it because I was told
It’s wonderful. I really like the many exits throughout since it’s so large. They obviously have every type of the book under the sun and the layout is really nice! I recommend!
Until I saw it with my own eyes, I would not have believed a bookstore could be this size! Powell’s occupies an entire city block! IJust about any book that has been written, you should be able to find in this size store. They have...More
Great atmosphere! So many books. New and used books. I could spend the day here. Employees were helpful and friendly.
Games, puzzles, maps. So much to see and/or buy. Very convenient location. Sizzle Pie across the street is great before or after the bookstore. Can’t...More
Do not miss the Sunday morning tour!

They have a parking lot! I also usually find parking on the street a couple blocks to the west. And, I often combine Powell's with a stop at Whole Foods, so I park at Whole Foods, go to Powell's, come back to WF and buy what I need - parking is free if you spend $10 (their 365 brand is affordable!) and you're not there more than two hours, last time I did this, anyway; things change so check ahead. Enjoy!
