Part of a day long tour with Xtramile Tours this cenote was visited after Coba. Great way to cool down in the crystal clear and cool waters of this underground cenote. Blind catfish in the waters and bats flying overhead in the cave. The lighting...More

Excellent way to end a hot, humid day after visiting the Tulum Ruins and a temple climb in Coba!! Our first trip to a cenote. We were a little leary at first but once we got down there and into the cool, clear water, it...More

If you like jumping from high platforms, into deep water, in a cave - this one's for you. We did not have breathing issues (like others mentioned), but if you're not into jumping, this is not a cenote for you. Otherwise, enjoy!!!

Deep dark cave, crystal clear water, bats flying overhead, fish swimming below, exhilarating high jumps... what's not to love here?

We went with a tour of 10 people. Water is very deep so if you drop something, it’s gone forever. A few in the group weren’t the strongest swimmers and we were surprised to find that they charge to use a life jacket. It’s a...More

A great experience that you have to see in person. Effectively a "whole in the ground" filled with cool fresh water. Vegetation is plentiful, lush and green on the way in and then it turns into a cool and dark "cave" (for lack of better...More

Not being on a tour, I was able to spend time alone in this cave for about 20 minutes. It was a unique experience to be inside the earth surrounded by silence, tree roots, and crystalline waters. If you have trouble with stairs or are...More

After a hot morning visiting Coba, we decided to pay Choo-Ha cenote a visit. I was surprised to find that we were the only ones there (and remained as such for nearly 45 minutes). The novelty of the underground chamber wore off after about an...More

You can rent life vests at the bigger cenotes but you wouldn't want flippers as there are hanging weeds and rocks also they are not very wide and they have ropes across for safety. Youd could get them from the hotel and most... More
