We booked this excursion last minute... Glad we did! We took a cruise and stopped at Amber Cove. This excursion was highly rated, so we booked it. If you're out of shape, this will be hard! We walked up a very steep path for 40...More

We did this excursion in July through ShoreExcursioneer with 2 kids ages 8&9. We did the 7 falls, zip lining, lunch combo. The hike to the falls was strenuous, but we took breaks on the way up and we were also provided with water. We...More

What a great excursion. Great place to visit with family and teens. The first jump is terrifying but so exhilarating. Caves are beautiful. Sliding down waterfalls is great fun. Good water shoes or sneakers a must. Would definitely do again.

Do not purchase this excursion through the cruise line. We walked to the taxis in the port and spoke with some guys who had taxis. They took our group (12 people) to the ATV excursion and the waterfall excursion for $20 a person round trip....More

We purchased this excursion thru Carnival on our cruise. The bus trip from Amber Cove was clean, safe and quick. We had about 20 people in the group. Purchase water shoes or wear CLOSED TOED SHOES, old gym shoes would be best. They will not...More

First a 40 minute hike, mostly inclined, thru a forest. Jumping into water and sliding into caves in water. What a rush!

We were a group of 8 from 15 to 45 years old. We are all in shape so we weren't concerned about the physical activity. We did not book through Carnival because they didn't offer to go up all 27 falls. Our tour was amazing!!...More

We booked this excursion through Carnival and I can honestly say it’s one of the best ones we’ve ever done. Our guides Gabby and Cecelio were amazing; they kept us entertained for the entire hike to the falls (“only 5 Dominican minutes left” haha) and...More

This was an amazing excursion to see nature in its purest form. At times the hike up was steep and our guides were great at letting us take our time and even fanning those who were hot. Rolfi our guide/photographer was hilarious and kept things...More

We didn’t find them slippery but definitely wear water shoes! I would recommend a sneaker type water shoe but if you have the less expensive ones get shoe inserts and put in as extra cushioning.
