Huge gift shop that occupies first floor. Only one demo available and mostly overcrowded. It was a rainy day and the outdoor tent was a wash as well.

The Corning Museum is NOT to be missed if you are in the area (and even if you are not). The art glass was absolutely stunning. The educational activities were good as were most of the demonstrations. Even the cafe was pretty good. Don't miss...More

Wonderful displays of glass, both old and new, both routine use and artistic. Artist in residence Deborah (Blown Away show winner) put on a terrific display of art work and was very giving of her time to fans. Very nice shop on premises.

The museum houses not only antiquities and rate beautiful glass, but teaches about the great accomplishments and contributions of the Corning company to aerospace, building, technology, and automotive accomplishments. Favorite section was the 35 Centuries of glass. What an amazing collection, and I learned so much. The hot glass blowing was fantastic. We didn't get to see the other demonstrations because we got there too late, and some were scheduled at the same time....More
