Liberty state park is a place that all US citizens should visit. The Statue of Liberty is right there. There is a science building. Restaurants marina and a beautiful 911 attraction. Very humble. Don’t miss this.

Great place to see Manhattan skyline. We just walked quickly thru the park to see the view and board on a boat to Statue of Liberty. Great to board from this side as way less people and you may then continue your trip to Manhattan...More

Get those iconic family pics with the city skyline, Lady Liberty and the harbor in the background for free and on your own time schedule. If you and Clark Griswold like to linger for all of a minute and a half, this is perfect. If...More

This is a lovely, well maintained park with wonderful views of NYC, Jersey City, Ellis Island and of course, the Statue of Liberty. Not only can you delight in the vistas, you can board a ferry to be at the sites. If picnicking is not...More

One of the best places to view the NY skyline. Amazing views. There’s nothing much to do in the Park as such but you can view the old railroad stations before the subways kicked in. Also the Ferry to the Statue of Liberty is less...More

We were delighted as we approached the Garden area, Beautiful Flags were flying, we found there an impressive Large Soldier carrying a wounded victim. The clean fresh well maintained area made for a lovely time for my family. The peaceful quiet area and the sound...More

a large park, with a boardwalk along the Hudson, taking to past the back of the Statue of Liberty. We went just to get the views of Manhattan, and take skyline photos, but the park itself is lovely, well laid out, with plenty of benches...More

Went here to catch the statue cruise ferry to see Ellis Island and the Staute of Liberty. A lot of stuff here. Good place to walk and enjoy the sky line of Manhattan across the river.

I think the close parking is like less than $10 per day, Actually I think it was $7 and that was the closest parking which was about a quarter of a mile to the ferry. Parking far out may not be the safest especially after... More
