It is amazing to have a desert so close to the beach. There are no plants just desert and dunes. It is beautiful though. The Interpretive Center is very interesting and we saw flamingos. We did this by private taxi and it cost about $80...More

We cycled across the reserve. Wind assisted is more enjoyable. Bring sunscreen. Beautiful views and feels like you’ve landed on a different planet.

I took a solo bike trip around the reserve and besides getting completely roasted and getting a flat tire on the way back, I had the best time. Would definitely recommend visiting the reserve this way instead of with a tour. This way you can...More

I have done a guided tour through the Nature Reserve. There are amazing outlooks with good Landscape Photography options. I could photograph Birds as well like the black Oyster Catcher, peruvian Boobies and the Inca Tern.

It's a deserted peninsula with rich marine life. Our guide was very informative and was a student learning marine conservation in Pisco. The visitor center has great exhibition of the wildlife in the preserve. We have seen many Peruvian pelicans, dolphins and condors, flamingos and...More

There isn't much to hike within Paracas Nature Reserve. It's rather barren and there are a few viewpoints to visit. Would suggest you ride a buggy or ATV. You can arrange it with any tour operator in Paracas. And Paracas is... More
