It has always been my dream to visit this place. Not only the lighthouse, but the whole island. I’ve read so much about the place, seen so many pictures that I had to visit. This place certainly did not disappoint. We couldn’t decide initially whether...More

Seriously stunning. I was blown away, the light is fantastic, the beach is beautiful, lazy fishermen line the shore, it really is idyllic. It sums up why people would want to live here

After Parking up on the street we walked down and across the causeway to the lighthouse. The entire area is open so you can wander along the shore or the little paths through the growth. A fun area.

It is a beautiful lighthouse with a short but steep stairway inside. Even the three year old went up to the top! Worth the short walk to get to the lighthouse. Great picture spot.

You are able to go inside during certain times of the day. I think it’s $7 per person to go up to the top.

We made a quick stop to this lighthouse and didn’t regret it. You’ll get some great pics and if you can try and make your way to the top. It’s a little walking from the road to here but it’s worth it. Very breezy once...More

Lovely light house just outside the town centre. Well worth the climb up to the top. Great views of harbour and Chappy ferry. Definitely worth the $5 entry fee.

Edgartown Lighthouse is a really cool landmark!!! It wasn't too long of a climb to the top (approx. 70 steps). Making it up there is its own reward, as the views are breathtaking:) If you're afraid of heights, try it anyway. While I don't think it's...More

Not a far walk at all. I'm in my 70's and had no problem. Easy walk and lovely homes with great architecture. Enjoy!

Brooke, Do you mean the Harborview Hotel that is located across from the Edgartown LIghthouse? It depends where you take the ferry to—closest would be Oak Bluffs rather than Vineyard Haven. From there you can grab a MV bus... More
