We visited this museum by taking a taxi from the Miami Airport at a cost of $22. Another option is to take the free Miami Trolley if you aren't in a rush. The museum may be easily missed as it is similar to the residential...More

This museum is very small and I, at first, thought it would be an extremely short visit. I was wrong: there’s a good (although for some a bit too-detailed) informational video to catch you up to speed with events surrounding the Bay of Pigs invasion....More

It’s not a museum in the traditional sense in that there aren’t lots of storyboards telling you about the history of the Bay of Pigs. Rather there is a collection of memorabilia and photographs. We were welcomed by a gentleman who had been part of...More

The Bay of Pigs museum was an incredible experience. We had several hours after our cruise and before our flight, so we checked it out. Saddled with all of our luggage, we were greeted by our tour guide, who invited us to leave our bags...More

I know this place gets lots of mixed reviews on various travel websites. However, we got lucky on our stop. We were given a guided tour of this small place by an actual veteran of the Bay of Pigs Battle. Very interesting but tiny place....More

You will not regret this stop! Visiting and talking with true American Patriots will change your whole perspective. Please, do not miss this little museum if you are in the Miami area.

What an amazing opportunity to spend some time with true heroes and great Americans. My son and I spent two hours hearing the stories of what actually happened in the years leading up to the Bay of Pigs invasion and the aftermath thereof. It is...More

I had taken a number of tours in Little Havana, and NONE of them had stopped nor mentioned this place. It was not until the "Food Tours in Miami" that I found this little gem. As a history buff, I absolutely loved it! Not only...More

Even though I go to Miami on a regular basis, it was only recently that I found out about the existence of this museum. During my last trip there, I made it a point to visit and found it to be quite interesting. We were...More

This is a very nice little museum that tells the story of the Bay of Pigs invasion from the point of view of the Cubans who resisted it. Obviously, it's a little slanted on the political issues, but the human stories of the participants is...More

Depends on whether or not you use a tour guide (always available). Depends on your level of interest and how in depth you would like to explore. Anywhere from 25 minutes to 1 hour.
