This is a beautiful train station and it's nice to see an historical building preserved so well. I didn't realize there was an hotel in the station itself and that seemed like a really good idea. The Amtrak tracks are right outside. We've taken the...More

What a variety of items, once you arrive in Denver. We grabbed a cup of coffee and off to find the "free ride" up town.

We wandered through Denver Union Station and bought coffee. We sat for some time looking around at how beautiful it is. I could have sat here for hours watching people coming and going. Stunning location.

If you are in the area, stop by. Not a large station, but has a nice interior with a lot of choices for drinks and food, also there is a hotel insight.

Such a cool vibe, with a great bar and some very cool restaurants. Go around Christmas, when the atmosphere is even better. Cooper lounge is expensive, but have some cool cocktails and interesting appetizers.

What a beautiful, welcoming, social space. They renovated it and really made it not only spectacularly beautiful, but put in comfy seating, restaurants, bars, even a shuffleboard area. Adored this building. Do not miss. Also Saturdays there is a farmers market there.

Stopped to visit in the area to eat breakfast at Snooze. It was a lovely place to go chat and made me even want to take Amtrak sometime. The bookstore was lovely as well.

Very smart city planners to have taken the old train station and made it the hub of public light rail transport and an eating place and shops. It was just a few blocks walking from the airport train ($10.50 with a 50% discount for seniors)...More

Very easy from the airport. You can by a ticket at the airport and the train will take you to Union Station where you can get off to go downtown or grab another train to go to another area of Denver.
