I moved to the heart of santa Barbara county's AVAs in 2017. The first and only winery I joined? Rideau. The wines song like a lark in the morning. The staff envelops you like honey on the tongue. Reza poured rose out of an unlabeled...More

Many wineries in the area, but this one distinguished by its lovely grounds, multiple rooms and good wine. Tasting flight fee removed with purchase, which isn’t hard to do given the quality of the wines. Knowledgeable staff, pleasant service, convivial atmosphere. Good afternoon activity.

We are Brander wine club members and had a wine swap free tasting at Rideau and were so glad to give it a try. Wonderful line ups. We tried one each of the two flights. Smaller place, quiet, easy going, friends staff. Bought the Syrah.

Dropped in with 8 folks and their staff were very welcoming and made us at home. The wines are well done. We did like both the Lagniappe white and red. They are very tasty for blends and had good price points. Recommend the one checks...More

Yes, this place is very family friendly. However, you should probably call them to ask about children on the tour.
