Monterey Bay houses one of the most interesting marine ecosystems in the US. We scuba dove it and had a wondrous time. For non-divers, the beaches and walks and views are spectacular.

Monterey bay is beautiful. There are actually sea otters and kelp visible in the bay. The water is cold and appear to be clean.

A beautiful day in paradise. Monterey Bay is just gorgeous. We went to Fishermans Whatf and had breakfast at Lulus. Highly recommend! My husband had squid steak and loved it. The food was all great!

There is an Enterprise and they’ll pick you up Because of congestion and parking issues in both Monterrey and Carmel I’d consider a tour or a bike or a cart

I've been to the central California coast in late summer and mid fall. I'm not 100% certain but I don't think there are drastic temperature changes throughout the year. I do recommend dressing in layers as the temps change... More
