Cannery Row is a pleasant place to stroll, mostly for tourists and along the great Monterey Bay Aquarium, where we walked along the bay, checked out shops and restaurants, stopped into the Aquarium's little education center, and enjoyed ourselves.

We spent one night in monetary, we did cannary row, whale watching, 17 mile drive, bixby bridge and the aquarium and that was long enough. It’s pretty but not enough to do, we would only suggest one night to be honest.

The whole area is pretty congested, but you should be able to find a place on the street if you don't mind walking a little. I would go early and try to beat the crowds.
