This is the last place to buy a book! Staff are rude. I asked for directions 3 different people. One guy just last on his phone and barely looked up. He pointed vaguely in a way that he was uninterested. Honestly don’t go out of...More

A bookstore with lots of old books and cds. But they do have new books as well. I like the entire environment and decoration. Good place to visit even though you don t buy anything.

Jumped to bookstore while visiting downtown LA. We enjoyed design and charming atmosphere of the bookstore. Highly recommended when in the DTLA.

We heard about The Last Bookstore during a walking tour of DTLA. We had so much fun exploring it, and watching people who matched the quirkiness of the place. The artists places are interesting also. So glad we visited.

Amazing bookstore. So much to explore and interesting things to see. Only reason why I did not give it 5 star is no restroom. Their security sent me to Starbucks to use restroom but Starbucks did not have public restroom so wasted my time walking...More

Definitely worth visiting; not a very large selection of science or foreign language books, but a lot of options with other topics like poetry, childrens books, and cookbooks

Having explored the nearby Grand Central Market, we headed to The Last Bookstore to see what all the fuss was about! Inside, this large store overflows with vintage, rare and eclectic books, vinyl and records. Filled with 'instagrammable' displays (the hole in the bookshelf, for...More

Phone and wallet. Not happy about bags that could hold stolen items. This general area of Downtown is a bit edgy. all types walking around on the pavements.

Either find one of the close parking lots or park further away on the street and walk there, it's a nice walk.
