Good location for visiting the peninsula and for arranging outings like kayaking. Some good restaurants and at least one good hotel. Not scenic, but pleasant.

Take an early boat, so you can drive to other parts of the peninsula. If the day is nice, take the boat with submarine view. Amazing!

Stayed 2 nights here to check out the wildlife. Besides the whales (southern right whales and orcas), you can also see elephant seals, sea lions, penguins and various local animals like guanacos, hairy armadillo and rhea.

Delightful casual, small-seaside-town ambiance. Comfortable accommodations and good food are available. The people we encountered were all friendly and helpful. Will be recommending to friends who enjoy outdoor activities and marine mammals.

Visiting Puerto Piramides was a stunning experience. We took a boat trip for the whale watching. When the whale approached us - everybody in the boat was fascinated. All you could here was the clicks of the cameras. Allow a few days, even though whale...More

The best time is from July to November for whale watching . To see orcas hunting on the beach too , but you also need luck to find the right moment they do
