This avenue connect Plaza de Mayo with Plaza Congreso, Casa Rosada with the Parliament. This is a piece of Madrid in Buenos Aires. Nice for a walk and drink a coffe in Cafe Tortoni

Walking down this avenue is like walking in Europe's yesteryear streets with striking architectural buildings. As you are looking up, don't forget to look down, as the city's tile sidewalks have little maintenance.

Avenida de Mayo is a beautiful Avenue connecting the House of Government or Pink House with Congress, and hosting the famous Cafe Tortoni.

A street of many large beautiful buildings (likely mostly condos and apartments) of the 19th and early 20th century. Some sections have shops and restaurants. We walked it from Plaza de Mayo to the parliament buildings.
