The larger than life sculpture is suppose to open and close throughout the day. It is also beautifully lit up at night. The park only has one entrance that I can find, so it's tricky to get in.

This is a 23m high aluminium construction that sits in a small park in the north area of B.A. The flower opens and closes during the day and sits in a reflective pool and is quite impressive. It is a bit of a pain to...More

This was a cool place to sit and relax and take photos. The floralis was in the closed position during the day. Not too sure when it’s actually opened. You probably just need 10-15 mins here.

Unfortunately, not working at the time of visit. Reportedly, this chrome giant flower opens in the morning and closes at night. Interesting idea. Hope they fix it soon.

What a great park to visit. The park is large and many people just hanging out and enjoying the green space. The flower is an amazing feature and is open during the day and slowly closes ad the day passes. And it is all powered...More
