This is definitely bigger than the Hayl Castle, but there wasn't much to see. There's a museum near the area, but we couldn't go in this fort which made it disappointing.

Its easily located inside Fujairah city, very well preserved with great lightening effects at night, can be seen almost everywhere inside Fujairah from a height at night. Must see the Museum located nearby
A historic fort overlooking the modern buildings of Fujairah. There is a visitors book and the inside of the fort is open to visitors. There are good views which could do with a few more tourists to create an atmosphere.

At the moment, the whole place is being rebuilt so I doubt it even opens to the public. I was there 3 weeks ago and the place was half built. Still worth going for a look. If you want to see the inside of a fort, I recommend... More
