Both these trips were organised by Casa Corcovada and their guides and transfer arrangements were superb. Saw so much and learned so much. Definitely recommend.

As a family we took a day tour of Corcovado national park. As always some sense of perspective and realism is required when looking for animals in a tropical rainforest as perceptions of what you will see are distorted by nature programmes. That said, we...More

We booked a trip from La Picolina Tours at Playa Colorada. Our guide was Everest (like the mountain). We chose this station rather than Sirena because of the shorter boat trip (only 20mins), as we had experienced quite rough seas the day before and had...More

I have always dreamed of walking through the rainforest looking for animals and this trip did not disappoint. We did the 3 day Carate-Sirena-Carate tour, spending 2 nights at the Ranger Station. We saw lots of animals, insects and plants. I was excited to see...More

A rich and amazing environment that requires a little work to reach, but worth the effort. We entered via Campanario Biological Station with their expert naturalists and were not disappointed.

Hi there, you don't need to go from Uvita by water to reach Corcovado. You can go also by car, the only inconvenient is that it takes more time (max. 3 hours as I remember), but it worths seeing Corcovado.
