This was on the Pacific side of Costa Rica and the water was a beautiful color of blue. The hotel was first class . Went on a catamran and got to see whales and a chance to go snorkeling. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Biezans was a completely natural white sand beach, which is accessed by a short walk through a forest trail. Great place to enjoy a relaxing day with a book, snorkeling or other water sports. Very safe for kids. Don't miss it.

Not the best for viewing sunsets as others have said. Plus there are no restaurants or bars within walking distance of this beach. This is a cover that you hike down to and it is surrounded by rocks at the bottom. The vendor selling food and drinks at the beach is selling soft drinks, beer, pipa's and snack type food. They don't have a proper restaurant or bar at this beach.
