Big Spring Park is a beautiful Huntsville venue. It is a great place to walk around and view the fountains, ponds, and fish. Well lighted and feels safe.

We spent a morning at this park. It’s a beautiful place for a walk on a sunny day. The lake has huge gold fish, ducks, and geese. There is a fish food dispenser. We didn’t ride them, but there are rental bikes available.

Always enjoy visiting Big Spring Park. Definitely a must visit during the Tinsel Trail in December. Great to get out downtown and enjoy the beautiful green space in the city.

The park is another nice component of the thriving old downtown district. Beautiful flowers, cool flowing waters from the springs and lots of deep shade make this the perfect place to be - especially on hot Alabama days and nights.
