I have visited Arlington Cemetery 2 times, once doing a self walking tour and another with the paid tour offered on site. The volume of individuals who have sacrificed for our country and are here at their final resting place is evident everywhere you look....More

Our tour group spent the morning there. The day was beautiful, the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier was impressive, and the guides on the trollies were very informative. A great reminder - WE HAVE OUR FREEDOM BECAUSE OTHERS PAID...More

Our first stop on our 3-day tour of Washington DC. We stayed in Virginia and used the Metro daily. Arlington is a "must see" stop. It is a truly amazing and moving experience. The Changing of the Guard takes place every hour, on the hour,...More

As soon as you go through the gates you are speechless. Just to see the row upon row of grave sites is very humbling. So glad we made this stop on our trip - it's just an amazing experience!

We arrived and left via the Big Bus Tour, great and easy way to see the city. We spent nearly 2 hrs at the cemetery and only saw a small fraction of it. It was my first time visiting the cemetery and I think it...More

Been to DC a bunch of times but hadn't gotten a chance to visit until now. Cemetery was well kept and everyone was very respectful while visiting the various sites. It takes longer to venture from each of the sites than you realize so keep...More

Quiet and respectful. Very nice visitors center and helpful staff. You do have to go through security to get inside. Get a map and I recommend walking. There are small trolley type tours, but take your time and walk the grounds The Tomb of the...More

On our groups to do list we ventured over on our first day of arrival to the area. For the most part the other visitors were quiet and respectful. An amazing place and solemn tribute for those buried there.

We took the hop on hop off tram. Although the map appears that it goes all the way around the cemetery it only made 4 stops. It turns out that was OK for us because we ran out of time. We saw a changing of...More
