I live here so probably not the most objective. But it's a lovely city with excellent restaurants and historic areas.

It is a real pleasure to stroll the streets of Old Town, and I jumped at the chance when meeting an old friend for dinner. History, character, and delight a short hop from the ostentation of DC

We came here to check it out as I'd seen so much in tourist magazines about this place being so amazing. We found it a little boring. Yes the streets are cool and the buildings are neat - but we didn't find that many stores...More

Lots of restaurants and local history. Brick sidewalks. Lots of shops to wander through. Close to DC. The metro is close by. Hotels, food and shopping, that’s all you need. Trolley available also

The old water front former warehouse factory location has been turned into a pedestrian user friendly neighborhood. It is charming and its historic value and quality has been reborn to be enjoyed.

Yes take Metro. If you don't have one, you will need to buy a one time $5 metrorail farecard, in addition to loading money on it. Keep farecard for future visits. Well worth it.

There are several places up and down the street. It parks at the east end and then stops at different corners. I picked up s bunch of people in front of my hotel also.
